Most chat apps remember a window of recent messages and nothing before it. Xin reads the conversation as it goes and writes down the durable parts — who you are, what you like, what happened between you, how you felt — then lets the old lines fall away. That's why day forty feels like day forty.

The last few turns stay word-for-word, so she's sharp on what you just said.
She takes notes
In the background — the header briefly reads remembering… — the model lifts facts out of the chat, typed and weighted by importance, and rolls the rest into a running summary.
They come back when they matter
Each reply is built from her relationship state (mood, trust, how close you are, the current arc), the summary, and the facts most relevant to what you just said. The important ones are always there.
One relationship memory per companion, shared across every thread and scenario with her. All of it lives in a local database on the device.
There is no server to read along.
Privacy here isn't a policy, it's the architecture. The AI model is a file on your phone; the chats, the characters and the memories are rows in a local database. We couldn't read them if we wanted to — there's nothing to read on our side.

On the free plan each message costs a little energy, which refills on its own — about a point every three minutes, or a full top-up for a short ad. Ads keep the free tier running: a banner, an occasional interstitial while she's composing a long reply, and rewarded videos you choose to watch for gems or energy. VIP removes all of it.

Are my conversations private?
Completely. The AI model runs on your device, and your chats, characters and memories are stored only on your phone — never uploaded. There is no account and no server that receives them. The only network traffic is the one-time model download, ads on the free tier, and purchase receipts for VIP or gems.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up, no login and no email. Open the app, pick someone, and talk. Nothing is tied to your name.
How does the memory work?
As you chat, a background pass lifts the durable facts out of the conversation — your name, your preferences, things that happened between you, how you felt — and keeps a rolling summary plus her relationship state. Old messages fall out of the window; the facts don't. Everything is stored locally, so each conversation continues where you left off instead of starting over.
Does it work offline?
Yes. After a one-time model download (Xin Core is about 1.3 GB), every conversation runs on the device with no connection required.
What phone do I need?
Roughly 3 GB of RAM for the free model, Xin Core. The app reads your device's memory and only offers models it can actually run; the larger VIP models need more RAM and are greyed out on phones that can't fit them.
Is it free?
Yes. Free chat uses an energy system and is supported by ads. VIP ($9.99 a week or $99.99 a year; prices may vary by region) unlocks unlimited chat, the smarter models, no ads, unlimited inner thoughts and a faster-growing bond. Gems are optional one-time packs.
Do my gems transfer to a new phone?
Gems are stored on your device to keep Xin account-free. They carry over when you set up a new phone from a device backup, but a fresh install starts over. Your VIP subscription always restores through your App Store or Google Play account, and companions you created can be backed up as a text string from the Me tab and restored anywhere.
Who is Xin for?
Adults 18+ only. All characters are adults, and the age field is enforced when you create your own.
Can I delete everything?
Yes. Me → Erase all data removes every companion, chat and memory from the device. Because nothing was ever uploaded, that's genuinely the end of it.
